Deb Brausen, MS, RN, ensures the operational and functional integrity of UW Health's specialty clinics by integrating operational and clinical management across the system.
She leads the planning, continuous improvement and management of all specialty clinics in the UW Health system. Deb works to coordinate ambulatory services and provide patients with a seamless experience throughout the enterprise, while ensuring that clinics remain fiscally responsible.
In addition to overseeing specialty clinics across UW Health, Deb also directs joint ventures that involve UW Health, including Madison Surgery Center Inc., Generations Fertility Care Inc., Wisconsin Sleep Inc. and Transformations Surgery Center, Inc. She recently led the start-up and oversees the operational responsibility for the Autism Treatment Programs at the Waisman Center in Partnership with UW Health. Deb has a matrixed reporting relationship with UW Health service line directors, the Senior Vice President of the American Family Children's Hospital and the President of UW Health at The American Center, and together they work closely to provide direction and leadership to UW Health staff.
