Michael Dallman joined UW Health as the Vice President for Regional Development on January 1, 2005. On July 1, 2012, Mr. Dallman assumed the role of President of University Health Care, Inc., (UHC), in December 2014, President of UW Health Regional Division, Inc., (UWHR) and in July 2015, UW Health Senior Vice President for Regional Affairs. On July 11, 2016, Mike was named Chief Strategy Officer for UW Health.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Michael leads the organization's strategic planning process to help ensure long-term success. Michael will leverage the strategic thinking and institutional knowledge of stakeholders through inclusion and partnership to help guide UW Health into the future.
Michael's other areas of responsibility represent many of UW Health's external connections and include: corporate leadership of UHC, Inc., UW Regional Division, Inc., E-Care of WI, LLC and Health Professionals of WI, Inc. Mike provides oversight of the regional physician advocacy program, community provider/clinical outreach program, regional affiliations and services, the Management and Education Services for Health Systems program, the E-Care ICU program, Telestroke and the Regional Cancer Center networks. Mike is involved in business development throughout the UW Health system.
Prior to joining UW Health, Michael served as Executive Director of the WI Valley Health Network, Vice President at Aspirus, Inc., held various administrative and management roles within the Wausau Hospital and created MMW Imaging, LLC.
He is a member of the UW Health Senior Leadership Council, a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on a variety of community and health care related Boards, including past involvement with Wausau Child Care, Inc., MMW Imaging, LLC, Moundview Hospital & Clinics, Inc., the Watertown Regional Medical Center and Watertown PHO. He is currently a Board member of UHC, Inc., HPW, Inc., E-Care of WI, LLC, SwedishAmerican Hospital and Health System, Rockford, IL, Quartz Health Solutions, Inc. and Agrace Hospice.
Michael received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a Bachelor of Business Management from Upper Iowa University, along with an Associate in Applied Radiologic Sciences from Northcentral College-Wausau, WI.
