Karil Walther

Vice President, Primary Care and Population Health Management

Karil guides the operational, financial, facility and human resource functions for UW Health primary care clinics, with a focus on enhancing patient- and family-centered care. She oversees a variety of clinical support areas including clinical staff education, urgent care, ambulatory float pool, Healthline and outreach. Karil works with population health related programs such as RN Care Coordinators, Complex Case Management and Advanced Practice Providers practicing in Long Term Care to address care needs for specific populations.

Prior to her current role, Karil was RN Director, Clinical Support in ambulatory operations. Before joining UW Health, Karil held nursing leadership positions in the ambulatory, hospice and emergency services settings.

Karil completed her undergraduate studies in Nursing from Carroll College and earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and Masters in Nursing from Edgewood College.
