Jay Robaidek

Senior Vice President, External Affairs

In this role, he is responsible for the leadership of UW Health’s Development Program, Government Affairs, Community Relations and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. He is also responsible for working with the CEO to align the efforts of UW Health senior leadership and supporting both internal and external communications from the senior level. He works closely with the School of Medicine and Public Health to align its efforts with those of UW Health.

Jay joined UW Health in 2011 as the Chief of Staff for the UW Hospital and Clinics Authority. During his tenure at UW Health, Jay has been involved in a number of initiatives, most notably supporting the efforts to receive approval for the integration of the UW Hospital and Clinics Authority and the UW Medical Foundation. Subsequent to the organizational integration, he has been actively involved in aligning senior leadership.

Prior to joining UW Health, Jay was a staff member for United States Senator Russ Feingold. During his 13 years working for Senator Feingold, Jay held a number of positions including 7 years in which he served as Senator Feingold’s State Director and was responsible for overseeing his state operations based out of 5 offices across Wisconsin.

Jay has both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree.
