Dennis Maher

Vice President, Supply Chain and Support Services

In his role as Vice President, Supply Chain and Support Services, Dennis is responsible for the leadership of all Supply Chain, HTM (Biomedical Engineering/Clinical Engineering), Culinary and Clinical Nutrition activities for the system.

Prior to joining UW Health, Dennis was Vice President of Shared Services (Supply Chain, HTM and a Shared Lab) at Sutter Health in California, a 24-hospital system that stretches between the San Francisco Bay area, the Central Valley and the greater Sacramento CA area. The supply and service budget of nearly $2 billion annually.

While at Shared Services, Dennis lead the consolidation of HTM and fostered collaboration across Information Services. He also provided executive leadership to Systems’ mid-level esoteric laboratory that performed over 3 million tests per year.

Dennis has over 20 years of executive leadership in academic medical centers in Cleveland, Ohio, Burlington, Vermont and Madison, Wisconsin. He also has over 15 years of executive leadership in community-based provider systems. His advanced learning in organizational management has yielded alignment of three different disparate health providers into thriving integrated health networks.

Dennis has a bachelor’s degree in Business and Hospitality Management with an advanced degree in Business Administration.
