Getting Back on the Trails After Heart SurgeryDuring the 2010 racing season, a serious injury left snocross racer Erika Rau with a severely damaged aorta and a fractured neck. She was rushed to UW Hospital and Clinics where doctors performed minimally-invasive emergency heart surgery.
