Video: Marissa Bode in a Very Special Performance

A Very Special Performance

Marissa Bode, an 11-year-old from Black Earth, was on the way to a rehearsal for the "American Girls Revue" with the Children's Theatre of Madison in September when she was in a car accident that left her paralyzed below the waist. She was still able to perform, as her castmates brought the show to the American Family Children's Hospital. (Video courtesy NBC-15)
