UW Carbone Cancer Center offers high-quality wigs, turbans and scarves are available at no charge for patients who are receiving treatment at UW Hospital and experiencing hair loss due to treatment for cancer or other illnesses.

 

About the Wigs for Patients Program

• Volunteers are trained to assist with choice, fitting and care.
• A licensed cosmetologist will cut and shape wigs free of charge for patients using the program.
• Inpatients need to be accompanied by a staff member for the entire appointment.

Locations

• This service is available to patients who are receiving treatment at UW Hospital and Clinics or at 1. South Park St. 

• The Wig service is located within the UW Hospital and Clinics Cancer Clinics.
