Patient Library and CancerHelp Computer
The patient education library is located in the Cancer Clinics (J3/246) is open to all cancer patients and their families. The library offers easy-to-understand brochures, videos, cassette tapes, books and book loan.
CancerHelp, an interactive touch-screen computer, can answer many of your cancer questions. If you need assistance with CancerHelp in the clinic, ask the front desk to contact the American Cancer Society Navigator or Cancer Connect.
American Cancer Society Navigator
Helping cancer patients within UWCCC
The American Cancer Society Navigator supports and works with patients with cancer and their families. The Navigator can:
- Provide educational information regarding cancer Match patient needs with support services within the Carbone Cancer Center Assist in locating local and national resources
- Arrange for durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers and beds
- Coordinate transportation and lodging
- Connect patients with wigs, hats and prostheses resources

UW Hospital and Clinics Learning Center
The Learning Center at UW Hospital and Clinics (E5/684) is specifically designed to meet the needs of our patients and families. Staffed by professionals, the Learning Center allows patients and their family members to learn at their own pace in a comfortable, caring environment.
