Pharmacodynamic Assays

The 3P Lab will validate and run a variety of PD assays, either as a single assay or multiplexed with the Bioplex.

The following assays have been validated:

• Bone health panel: Parathyroid Hormone, Retinol, Calcium
• Histone acytylation via chromatin precipitation (p21, HSP70, Nur77, CYP3A4)
• HIF-1a
• Prostate cancer panel: IGF1, IGFBP3, Testosterone, PSA, Urine 2-Hydroxyestrogen and 16alpha-hydroxyestrone>
• Reactive oxygen species via electron paramagnetic resonance imaging
• TGF1, TGF2
• VEGF pathway (VEGF, bFGF, MIP1, VEGFR1, VEGFR2)
