Principal Investigator

Dr. Adams is Director of the UW Collaborative Center for Health Equity and Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine.  She has conducted health disparity research for over 10 years, with a focus on prevention of obesity and related chronic diseases using a community-based participatory research approach.  Dr. Adams has ongoing collaborations with multiple tribal partners across Wisconsin.

Outreach Director

A Senior Outreach Specialist with the UWCCC's Cancer Control and Outreach Division, Mr. Strickland has been Outreach Director of Spirit of EAGLES since 2000.  Mr. Strickland also serves as Outreach Director for UWCCC's Cancer Health Disparities Initiative.  Rick brings over 25 years of organizing and community development experience to Spirit of EAGLES and CHDI, including health promotion with underserved communities.

Administrative Director and Researcher

Ms. Williamson joined Spirit of EAGLES in 2009 and is also Director for Program Development for UWCCC's Cancer Health Disparities Initiative.  In addition she is a researcher within UWCCC's Cancer Control Scientific Program who focuses on cancer disparities, health care access, and tobacco control. She has over fifteen years of experience conducting and managing cancer control, health policy, and health services research and has been a research consultant to community health programs. Ms. Williamson has also served as a research consultant to community health programs.
