Audience
Experienced pediatric oncology nurses with a minimum of one year's experience in pediatric hematology/oncology.
Course Content
This course includes a review of pediatric hematological and oncological emergencies, supportive care interventions and review of chemotherapy agents.
Purpose
To provide experienced pediatric hematology/oncology nurses an opportunity to enhance critical thinking through a review of pediatric pathophysiology of pediatric hematology/oncology processes, emergencies that arise and a review of current nursing interventions.
