Audience
Adult and pediatric registered nurses new to oncology practice.
Course Content
This program is based on the most current versions of a number of publications and guidelines available from the Oncology Nursing Society, including:
- Access Device Guidelines: Recommendations for Nursing Practice and Education
- Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs
- Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice
Purpose
To provide nurses with the knowledge needed to become competent in administering chemotherapy and managing side effects.
