The goal of breast patient care at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center, the state's only comprehensive cancer center, is to provide care for the whole person with a multidisciplinary, coordinated approach to the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
The multidisciplinary health care team meets on a regular basis to discuss diagnosis and treatment plans to ensure proper care is provided to our patients.
Our health care team includes providers from surgery, radiology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, psychology, occupational therapy, social work and genetic counseling.
