The echocardiography, or cardiac ultrasound, option provides didactic and clinical instruction in ultrasound of the adult and pediatric cardiovascular systems and vascular technology.

Potential Applicants
Please note that you must be currently enrolled at UW-Milwaukee as either a bachelor's degree-seeking student in their Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, or have a BS degree in Radiologic Technology and be in UW-Milwaukee's post-baccalaureate program in DMS in order to be eligible for our program.
If you are not currently enrolled in the UW-Milwaukee College of Health Sciences, please contact them to determine what it would take for you to become eligible to study there.

Application FormsThe application deadline for the General Sonography and Echocardiography classes starting September 2010 is December 1, 2009. Applicants are required to print and submit one copy of the application form and two reference forms to the UW-Milwaukee College of Health Sciences advising office. A checklist of materials to submit directly to the UW Hospital and Clinics School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography is included with the application form, for reference.
If eligible, applicants will be invited to interview no later than April 1, 2010. The School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography does not maintain applicant waiting lists.
