Liver transplant at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics has waiting list time averages significantly better than national averages. 

 

The definitive organ procurement and transplant data source, www.ustransplant.org, shows that nationally, fewer than half of the patients waiting for a liver transplant receive their organ in their first three years on the waiting list.

 

By contrast, 67 percent of UW Health patients undergo transplant in that same period of time.
