UW Health Sports Medicine is committed to help you achieve your athletic goals. Power2 Athletic Performance utilizes scientifically-supported and proven techniques to improve an athlete's strength, speed, power, agility and balance.
- STRENGTH is the ability to produce force and is the foundation of all athletic skills. Stronger athletes are less susceptible to injury and recover faster than their weaker counterparts.
- SPEED is a trainable skill. Sprinting with better technique, longer strides and faster foot speed will decrease your 40-yard dash time and make you a faster athlete on the field.
- POWER drives athletic success. Power is the ability to produce force fast. In the world of sports, power creates opportunities.
- AGILITY is arguably the most important performance skill in all team sports. Simply defined, agility is the ability to decelerate, change direction and accelerate.
- BALANCE is paramount in reducing the risk of injury and improving change of direction ability.
