The Power 2 Athletic Performance program classes and clinics take place in dedicated space at Princeton Club West, which offers outdoor space on the rooftop and an indoor space with power training racks and hardwood training space.
Facility training space
|
The rooftop space offers over 22,000 square feet of synthetic turf for grass sport training. This turf is similar to the turf used at Camp Randall Stadium and professional sports venues around the world. The consistent surface stability makes this training surface ideal for plyometric, speed and agility training. |
|
The indoor space consists of four PowerLift™ Full 9' Power Racks and up to 10,000 square feet of hardwood training space. The power racks are the same racks used in many of the best collegiate and professional strength training facilities in the country. The indoor space provides an optimal training environment for athletes of all sports. |
Technology
- Dartfish software: used for testing and training. The software allows the coach to break down movement mechanics more effectively and provides instant visual feedback to the athlete. Used by strength and conditioning coaches around the world, this software is an invaluable resource to improving athletic skill.
- Vector Pro Launch Monitor: adds another dimension to the testing and training of our golf athletes. This system allows our coaches to quantify improvements in the golf swing. It measures ball speed, launch angle, ball spin, side spin, pull or push angle, distance, carry and club head speed.
- Automatic timing systems: The only way to get reliable testing information is by using an automated timing system. Our infrared systems are the state-of-the-art when it comes to measuring any time-based test. Athletes are assured to get the most accurate information with no human error and no test score fudging.
