Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) is a condition
in which the top of a baby's thighbone doesn't fit securely into the hip socket. As a result, the thighbone may partly or fully slip out of the socket. Treatment focuses on moving the upper thighbone into its normal position and keeping it in place while the joint grows.
