The Pediatric Gastroenterology Division at American Family Children's Hospital would like to announce the opening of its interdisciplinary Failure to Thrive Clinic.
The clinic is staffed by Luther Sigurdsson, MD, Pediatric Gastroenterologist; Catherine Nelson, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner; Shirley McCallum, Pediatric Clinical Nutritionist; and Kelli-Lee Harford, Child Health Psychologist.
The clinic's purpose is to evaluate and treat children with failure to thrive, assess adequacy of oral intake, provide nutritional education and support, provide behavior education and support and refer as appropriate to other specialty clinics.
The half-day clinic will be held Tuesday mornings each week.
Referrals of patients having poor weight gain and growth issues are welcome. Please feel free to call the clinic if you have questions at (608) 263-6420.
