Red, White and Blue Smoothie

Celebrate the Fourth of July anytime with a Red, White and Blue smoothie. Delicious, refreshing and good for you, this recipe can also be altered to include any of your favorite fruit.

Red, White and Blue Smoothie



  • 1 large banana, cut into pieces and frozen 
  • 4 large fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced 
  • 1/2 cup blueberries 
  • 1 cup skim milk 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 
  • 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt 
  • 4 ice cubes



  1. Place the banana pieces, strawberries, blueberries, milk, vanilla extract, yogurt, and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Replace any of the fruit ingredients with your favorites if you like, but make sure one of them is frozen to make it nice and thick
