Hamburger "Box Dinner" Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
2 oz Olive oil
1 Onion, diced
3 Cloves fresh garlic, diced
1 lb Ground beef 80/20
¼ cup Corn starch
1 green bell pepper, diced
3 Tomatoes, chopped
½ tsp Fresh thyme, leaves removed from stems
½ tsp Fresh oregano, leaves removed from stems
Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)
½ cup 2% milk
1 lb Rotini noodles, cooked
Salt
Pepper
A Few Notes on Preparation
Corn starch added to the beef during cooking will help brown the beef.
Directions
Heat pan on high heat. Add 2 oz olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add onion first and then add the garlic. Stir and cook until onion is translucent. Add ground beef. Add 1/4 cup corn starch. Mix. Then add the green peppers. Add tomatoes. Next add the herbs. Add a dash of salt. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Stir. Add the milk and next added the cooked noodles. Continue stirring. Add a few dashes of black pepper before serving.
Spoon mixture into dish and serve.
