Central Venous Access
Central venous access is the placement of IV devices such as ports, peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) and dialysis lines.
The Interventional Radiology Clinic places various types of intravenous lines using x-rays to ensure proper placement. These procedures are done on an outpatient basis.
