UW Health Physician Opportunities

Specialty Medicine

UW Health offers the full range of specialty care, from heart and vascular care to neurological surgery.

UW Health physicians are faculty members of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH), which includes a coinciding appointment with the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation. As such, our doctors enjoy a rewarding clinical practice combined with enriching teaching and research opportunities.

An appointment with an academic institution such as the University of Wisconsin means that your employment is twofold: the UWSMPH component of your employment relates to teaching and research, while the UW Medical Foundation component relates to the care of patients.
