Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

This recipe is intended for children aged 3 and over.
2 cups clean pumpkin seeds (approximate)
2 Tbsp canola oil or melted butter
½ tsp salt (optional) 
Wash the seeds, dry them well and then stir with oil in bowl. Spread out to single layer on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle salt on top if desired.
 
Bake at 250 degrees F. until slightly brown. Roasted pumpkin seeds is a healthy, fun recipe from the Pediatric Fitness Clinic

Note: small pieces of food can be a choking hazard for those under three.
