Pediatric Diagnostic Service

The Pediatric Diagnostic Service sees children and adolescents who have disorders that are puzzling, difficult to classify or unresponsive to conventional treatments.

For many of our patients, parents and providers are either seeking a second opinion or want a comprehensive evaluation by an experienced UW Health pediatrician. Clinic evaluations include a review of all medical history and current symptoms as well as a complete physical examination.

We ask that families arrange to have their child's medical records and test results available to the clinic by the date of the appointment.

At your appointment, the physician will: 

• Perform a complete physical examination
• Review and evaluate previous examinations, laboratory tests and radiologic studies
• Arrange for diagnostic tests, as needed
• Provide referrals to additional specialists, as needed
