Whether you are trying new ways to enjoy physical activity, restore balance to your life, manage stress better or eat healthier, the UW Health Center for Wellness at UW Health at The American Center can support you on your journey to better health.
Our team will work with you to identify lifestyle changes and self-care practices, and create a personalized plan to navigate your health journey.
Wellness is a holistic approach that recognizes that we’re more than just physical bodies. We’re also minds, spirits, and family and community members. Health is about wholeness—taking into account the full range of our human experience. The Center for Wellness attends to body, mind, and spirit, helping patients connect with things that really matter to them.
During this 60-minute appointment with a physician or advanced practice provider, we will explore your personal and family health history, clarify your health goals and create a personalized lifestyle plan you can implement and sustain. We will use evidence-based treatment options, personal support and self-care practices to optimize your health.
UW Health Wellness offers a goal-oriented approach to health coaching and life coaching, empowering you to identify and make positive changes in all areas of your life and benefit you physical health, emotional health and mental health.
