Amanda's Story
The following tribute was written by Amanda's sister.
Amanda, my sister, my friend, was a wonderful and bright person. She was a wonderful mother, wife, sister and friend.
Amanda saved lives during her life as a nurse. She loved her job. If you asked her though, to her it wasn't a job, but her destiny, her calling.
Amanda lost her life in a car wreck on her way home from work the morning of June 3, 2008. Making the decision as a family to donate her organs was an easy choice. Although our family was in so much pain we thought what a wonderful gift Amanda could give to another family to spare them the same loss.
May the work she has done on earth always speak for her.
