Swiss Steak

***OPTION 1***
2 #’s round steak, trimmed, cut into pieces
Salt and pepper
1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
1 onion, thinly sliced 

***OPTION 2***
2 #’s round steak, trimmed, cut into pieces
Salt and pepper
1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
1 onion, thinly sliced
3-4 sliced potatoes
1 can French style green beans
1 can (10 oz.) tomato soup
 
Season round steak pieces with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker. Pour one can (16 oz.) tomatoes over steaks. Add one onion, thinly sliced. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. Optional: To the above recipe, add 3-4 sliced potatoes, 1 can French-style green beans, drained and 1 can (10 oz.) tomato soup. Add soup and tomatoes in the last hour of cooking.
