Nutrition and Eating Disorders
The registered dietitians at UW Health can provide counseling to individuals who want to develop a healthier relationship with food, safely gain or lose weight, separate food myths from food facts, and learn the basics of good nutrition.
Please note, nutritional counseling alone will not provide a cure. Psychological counseling also might be a necessary part of your eating disorder treatment.
A wealth of information is available to help you live with and manage your eating disorder. You should be careful to seek information only from credible sources. The following resources are recommended by your UW Health nutrition care team.
