Chicken Stew

1 # chicken breasts, skinned, boned, bite size pcs
1 cup water
½ cup pearl onions
½ cup sliced celery
½ cup thinly sliced carrots
½ tsp. paprika
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. sage
¼ tsp. thyme
¼ tsp. pepper
1 cup fat free chicken broth
1 cup mushrooms
1 can (3 oz.) tomato paste
2 Tbsp water
1 ½ Tbsp cornstarch
1 cup frozen green peas
 
Combine first 13 ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on high 4 hours or on low 6-8 hours. Combine 2 Tbsp. water and cornstarch and add to cooker to thicken. Add peas. Stir well. Cover and cook on high 30 minutes.
