Beef Stew
3 carrots, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
3 potatoes, peeled and cut into pieces
2 # lean beef, cut in cubes
1 cup water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, crushed
1 bay leaf
salt to taste
½ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1 onion, cut into pieces
1 stalk celery with leaves, cut up
Place all ingredients into slow cooker. Cook on low 7 to 9 hours until meat and vegetables are tender.
