UW Health Sports Medicine Experts Offer Services on East Side

Madison, Wisconsin - UW Health physicians David Bernhardt and John Wilson are now providing sports medicine services at the UW Health East Clinic, 5249 East Terrace Drive in Madison. 

Drs. Bernhardt and Wilson specialize in treating athletes of all ages and abilities and serve as team physicians for University of Wisconsin Athletic Department.

Bernhardt is a professor in the department of pediatrics at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. His particular expertise is in treating athletes with medical problems as well as musculoskeletal syndromes related to running.  Wilson, assistant professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation, specializes in sports-related injuries, particularly tendonitis and arthritis in active individuals.

Appointments are available on Monday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the UW Health East Clinic at (608) 890-6560.
