SAUK CITY, Wis. - Unity Health Insurance, an affiliate of UW Health and a leader in quality customer service and wellness programs, ranks as one of the top 50 commercial health insurance plans in the nation according to NCQA's Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2010-11.

 

"It's an honor to be ranked among the nation's top 50 health insurance plans again," said Terry Bolz, president and CEO of Unity Health Insurance. "Our dedication to our members through quality service and innovative programs is shown by this continuous achievement."

 

Unity received high marks for members' overall experience with the health insurance plan. On a scale of one to five, Unity received a four for consumer satisfaction.

 

"Providing quality service has always been a priority for us," said Gail Midlikowski, vice president of operations at Unity Health Insurance. "Our goal is to exceed our members' expectations with everything we do and this award is a true indication of our commitment."

 

Unity also received high marks for prevention and treatment of illnesses.

 

This is the sixth consecutive year that NCQA has ranked Unity Health Insurance as one of the highest-rated health insurance plans in the nation, according to U.S. News/NCQA "America's Best Health Insurance Plans"- 2005-2009 (annual).
