MADISON - Everyone can help make a difference in the fight against cancer. Recently, two different efforts helped raised nearly $30,000 to support education, research and services of the University of Wisconsin Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center.Think Pink
From September 20 – October 20, 2007 Shop Tanger & Think Pink was the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign organized by Tanger Outlet Center in Wisconsin Dells. Shoppers were able to fight breast cancer each time they purchased a Tanger Shop For a Cure gift card. Tanger donated 10 percent of the value of all gift cards purchased. Another way to support the cause was by purchasing the 25 percent off Pink Savings Cards that were sold for $1 each. The successful program raised more than $20,900 for the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
Since 1994, Tanger Outlet Centers has contributed in excess of $5 million to increase awareness for the importance of early detection, support educational programs and to improve the quality of life for breast cancer patients and families throughout the country.
