Sunday, February 17

The UW Hospital and Clinics (UWHC) senior administration has declared an inclement weather advisory effective 5am, Sunday, Feb. 17. We recognize that severe weather may mean unsafe conditions for many of you as you travel home from work and we ask that you drive carefully and arrive safely.

The weather may also create delays for some of you in getting to work and may even make it impossible for some of you to report as scheduled. Please contact your supervisor promptly if you will arrive late or will be unable to report for work.

Please check your e-mail, U-Connect, call your supervisor or call (608) 265-7332 for updated messages about the weather advisory. Staff working in essential patient care/support services may call (608) 890-7593 for detailed updates.

Clinics Expected to be Open Monday

Though some UW Health clinics were closed Sunday due to the weather, administration is not currently planning for any late clinic openings or closings for Monday.
