Celebrate World Voice Day with Fundamentally Sound
Madison, Wisconsin - Celebrate World Voice Day 2011 by listening to a free performance of the men's a cappella group Fundamentally Sound at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 16 in the UW Hospital atrium.
World Voice Day, observed every April 16, has voice-health professionals worldwide joining together to encourage people to assess their vocal health and act to improve or maintain good voice habits.
The American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery has sponsored the U.S. observance of World Voice Day since its inception in 2002.
The theme for World Voice Day 2011, "We Share A Voice," reminds people of the value and significance of vocal health in everyday life.
Friday's event is sponsored by the Department of Surgery’s Division of Otolaryngology, Voice and Swallow Clinics and Sound Health.
