In addition to providing maternity care and attendance throughout pregnancy, UW Health's certified nurse-midwives also provide routine physical examinations and health assessments for women.
Treatments and Services
Our services include:
- Pap Smears
- Breast and pelvic examinations
- Breast self-exam education
- Referrals for mammography and laboratory tests, as needed
- General wellness counseling
- Screening for and treatment of Vaginal Yeast Infections, Urinary Tract Infections and sexually transmitted diseases
