Make a Gift to Heart and Vascular Care
Heart and Vascular Care Funds
The UW Health Heart and Vascular Care program relies on gifts to carry out our multiple missions of cardiovascular research, care and service. Many cutting-edge clinical research ideas, statewide outreach efforts and meaningful personal touches for patients could not exist without the generosity of those who believe in, and support, the program.
Preventive Cardiology Program Fund
Public health education and prevention are the keys to a healthier future for all, and UW Hospital’s Preventive Cardiology Program was one of the first and remains among the most progressive and active in the country. Gifts support clinical cardiac rehab services; state, regional and national educational activities; and innovative research that is rapidly translated into the everyday practice of health professionals.
Rowe Cardiovascular Training Fund
Established in honor of Dr. George G. Rowe. His 50-year legacy with the UW Medical School included helping develop cardiac catheterization as a diagnostic tool, establishing the first cath lab in Wisconsin, treating thousands of patients and inspiring countless medical students.
Cardiothoracic Surgery Development Fund
The cardiothoracic (heart and lung) transplant program is the only program in the nation recognized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for high performance and best practice in all key aspects of organ procurement, transplant and hospital care.
