Volunteering at UW Health

 

At University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, our volunteers play an important role in the overall success of our organization. They assist patients, their families, and visitors to our facilities and are valued members of the health care team.

From helping with play and activities in the Child Life playroom to decorating waiting areas to arts and crafts in the Teen Lounge, a wide range of volunteer opportunities are available at the American Family Children's Hospital.

 

Volunteers generally work one shift per week, typically three to four hours per shift. To volunteer at the children's hospital, you must be at least 18 years of age. Teens ages 16 and 17 may volunteer during the summer session only.
