Group Volunteer Opportunities
- Kit preparation
Groups purchase materials to assemble kits that are utilized to help the child cope during his or her stay. Child Life will provide the group with the number of kits needed and the list of items to be included in the specific kit. Groups provide materials and assemble kits outside of the hospital. This may include coloring kits, diversional kits, and bedside activity kits. - Meals at Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House is located within walking distance of the hospital and is a special place for families to stay during their child's hospitalization.Groupsmay purchase food items (sandwich meat, bread, chips, etc) andassemble lunches beforehand or at the Ronald McDonald House's kitchen.
