Known for her 24-carat smile and excellent customer service, Timeca Echols recently completed the School at Work program at UW Hospital and Clinics.While working on her individual career and learning plan, Timeca became aware of, applied for and ultimately received a community scholarship to continue her education.
“I wouldn’t have been comfortable applying for a scholarship if I hadn’t been in the School at Work program,” she says. “The management in my department gave me the flexibility to attend class and wrote a recommendation for my scholarship. They helped me see the limitless possibilities.”
