ACD-B anticoagulant preferred. ACD-A is acceptable.
The Blood Center must be contacted before drawing and will only accept specimens for testing Tuesday-Friday. Specimens must be received and processed by the Blood Center of WI within 48 hours of collection. Specimens must be received by the UWHC Core Lab Monday-Thursday before 1000H. A normal control tube from an unrelated person must be submitted at the same time.
