|
Standard aseptic collection procedures should be followed.

| Collection Instructions: |
|
Rinse mouth thoroughly before collecting sputum. Clean skin with 70% alcohol for skin scrapings. Sputum, tissue, or 2.0 mL of body fluids in sterile, screw top container. Urine is appropriate only when disseminated mould (not Candida) infection is suspected. Skin scrapings from periphery of lesion, nails or hair should be submitted in a sterile screw top container or between 2 glass slides.
