| Additional Information: |
|
A cut-off value of 25 ng/mL is used to determine whether phencyclidine (PCP) is "screen positive". If screening test is reported as "screen positive", confirmation and identification can be made (at additional charge) by a reference lab using gas chromatography - mass spectrometry . Please submit an add-on order within 7 days of collection if confirmatory testing is needed.
The half-life is approximately 11 hours but can vary from less than 1 hour to 7 days in chronic users. Phencyclidine is a drug of abuse, as well as being a legitimate veterinary tranquilizer.
