Kids With Courage IV, held July 5, 2008 at the Monona Terrace in Madison, Wis., is a special reunion where we gather to celebrate a remarkable group of "courageous kids" whom have all received care for cancer or related diseases at UW Children's Hospital (now known as American Family Children's Hospital)—current and former patients as well as those children who did not survive. We have been so privileged to care for all these children.

The Honorary Chair for Kids With Courage IV was Cindy Crawford, whose life was personally touched by childhood cancer when her younger brother was diagnosed at the age of 4.

Special Guests for the day were Jon P. McGlocklin and Suzy Favor Hamilton, both great athletes who have dedicated themselves to the fight against childhood cancer.

 

The emcees for Kids With Courage IV were six special young individuals whose lives were impacted by childhood cancer.
