UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin offers patients a special kind of care; one that builds on collaborations between the care providers at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and the physician-scientists at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
In-kind donations are generally considered to be donations of new items, such as electronic equipment, books, toys for pediatric patients and more.
While we are grateful for donations, there are certain criteria that items must follow for the protection of our patients.
- All items should be new
- Items should be in original packaging and not gift-wrapped
- Items should be store bought, and not stored in an attic, basement or garage
- Non-violent (e.g. video games)
- No candy or food
