The following educational opportunities are available for those interested in careers in a child life-related field:
- Child Life Internship Program
The Child Life internship trains students to work with hospitalized children, families and staff at American Family Children's Hospital. The 16-week position offers a challenging opportunity for the student to further develop their professional skills and techniques in Child Life.
- Child Life Practicum
The purpose of the Child Life practicum is to give students a hands-on experience in the Child Life profession and prepare for a clinical internship.
- Child Life Development Practicum
The purpose of the Child Life Development practicum is to give students hands-on experience with the effects of chronic illness and hospitalization on patients' siblings.
