Athletic Training Student Clinical Internship

 

The University of Wisconsin Hospital Sports Medicine Center offers an eight-week athletic training internship program that provides the candidate with comprehensive experiences in the sports medicine clinic, sports rehabilitation, preventative injury programming and on-the-field evaluation opportunities through local outreach athletic programs.

 

The UW Sports Medicine Athletic Training Student Clinical Internship is designed to improve the quality of professional development and to provide athletic training students with a breadth of experience in the orthopedic clinical and sports rehabilitation settings.

 

 

Note: There will be no Athletic Training Student Clinical Internship for Spring 2009. Our next internship will be offered for Summer 2009.

 

The application deadline for the Summer 2009 internship is March 20, 2009.

 

One applicant is selected per session. All applicants will be notified of their status within four weeks of the deadline. If selected, candidates will be expected to participate in an interview process with select faculty.
