UW Health Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialists with Generations Fertility Care in Madison, Wisconsin offer the latest technology and compassionate, personalized care to assist couples who wish to become parents.
UW Health has provided Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility care to people from all parts of the country since 1974. It was the first program in the state of Wisconsin and the fifth in the United States to offer In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
In July 1984, the first IVF baby in Wisconsin was born resulting from fertility therapy performed at the University of Wisconsin. From the beginning of Assisted Reproductive Technology, the University of Wisconsin has been at the forefront of science and continues to be a leader today.

Complete evaluation and treatment of male infertility is also available, as are physicians specializing in urology surgery for both sexes.
Faculty physicians also offer evaluation and treatment for recurrent pregnancy loss and endocrine problems in women, such as menstrual irregularities, endometriosis, pituitary tumors, hirsutism and premenstrual syndrome.
